Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable Entries from Shepley Rutan & Coolidge (now Shepley Bulfinch)

Shepley Rutan & Coolidge were responsible for 3 area stations: Corapolis, Glassport, and New Castle Junction. Their historic archival team has been absolutely phenomenal in assisting us in researching the station; we are so grateful for all of their efforts. Company Archivist Robert J. Roche related the following to us:

Shepley Rutan and Coolidge billed for services during a 3 month period between January and March 1895 and that stations were done in order, Glassport first and then Newcastle Junction followed by Coraopolis. Costs for the stations were Glassport $5268, Newcastle Junction estimate $8135 and Coraopolis estimated at $12,500, the most expensive of the three.
